Chief Executive Officer

Our CEO is an industrialist with vast expertise and experience in engineering, project management and business management acquired during his 20-year tenure with Anglo American, De Beers, ESKOM Holdings SoC, Contigas and ANNASA Holdings. Tsholo has vast knowledge in the Mining, Energy & Gas industry gained while occupying various operational and executive positions during the unfolding of his career. His entrepreneurship prowess is depicted in his visionary outlook of setting up ANNASA and positioning it to grow organically while withstanding unprecedented market economic challenges. His affinity for technological applications, his eye for effective partnerships and his ability to prognosticate various economic waves have persuaded Tsholo to center ANNASA in markets that are growing exponentially.

As a founding member of ANNASA Holdings in 2013, Tsholo has held the position of Chief Executive Officer to date. He serves as a board member at Palabora Mining Company and is an affiliated member of the Institute of Directors of Southern Africa.He holds a BSc Electrical Engineering (UCT), Post Grad Diploma (Project Management), MSc Industrial Engineering (WITS) and Management Advanced Program (WITS Business School). He is also an active professional Engineer registered with Engineering Council of South Africa.

Sales & Business Development

Xolani is currently assigned to a Green Hydrogen and Sustainable Carbon Aggregation project at Sasol. His career spans over 25 years in both engineering and management environments. He was the CEO of Energy Intensive Group (EIUG),  Senior Manager at Deloitte, Director at Allan Gray Orbis Foundation. The first 15 years of his career were with Sasol operations in Sasolburg and later was transferred to Sasol Technologies to focus on Renewable Energy projects. Xolani has a Chemical Engineering background, PDBA, Masters in Business Administration.  He is a member of IODSA and a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of ArioGenix Pty Ltd and Karoshoek SDI Trust.

Xolani joined forces with ANNASA HOLDINGS to capacitate the Sales and Business Development division, and has since been an integral member of the ANNASA Team responsible for Business Building, Stakeholder Engagement and Management. He holds, Masters in Business Administration (MBA) - University of Pretoria, Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (PDBA) - University of Pretoria (GIBS), Btech Chemical Engineering (VUT), Btech Business Admin (VUT).

Engineering Services

Ian started his career with the communication giant TELKOM. He joined ESKOM in 1986, Central Region, and was part of the key personnel with the establishment of a Regional Control Center for the integration of all the regional Sub Stations to the Regional Scada. When moving to National Control he was exposed to the SCADA Management of the complete ESKOM Fleet, Distribution, Transmission and Generation throughout South Africa. Subsequently he switched to heavy current and joined the sister department of the PT&M Group within ESKOM: Protection. Here he received training in Heavy Current Protection and Metering applications for voltages ranging from 11kV to 400kV.He was employed by the City of Cape Town as a Systems Design Engineer, responsible for design, fault level calculation and relay settings. Entering the Private Sector, he joined ARCUS GIBB as a consulting Engineer and completed three years in Nigeria as lead Electrical Engineer for the Port Harcourt New City Development done by GIBB Nigeria.

When returning to South Africa, Ian joined ANNASA HOLDINGS and has since been an integral member of the ANNASA engineering services team

With ANNASA becoming a leader within the SMART UTILITIES framework, Ian applied his past experience and assisted with project management in large projects namely ECLEI Metering and Monitoring (This was a project launched by Government to understand technical losses within their electrical networks); Goodwood Social Housing (Smart Utilities);  Revenue Protection and Project Management within various municipalities (Naledi; Sol Plaaitjies and Matjhabeng to name but a few)

Keeping in touch with South Africa's energy constraints, Ian and ANNASA have designed a Micro-Grid Solar system for an Informal Settlement to supply power to communities where the grid supply is inadequate or too remote. Excess power will be pushed back to the grid to lighten the burden of already stressed networks. He holds a National Electrical Diploma (Bloemfontain),Project Management CPM Diploma (City of Cape Town), SAP Management Systems (City of Cape Town) ,Diploma Ci Tech-Scada ,Retic & Powa Master (EST Training Institute) and IESSA Diploma (SABS-Lighting School).

Tumelo Langa provides strategic technological direction to meet the needs of our valued clients. Tumelo joined forces with ANNASA HOLDINGS to capacitate the Information and Communication Technology division and has since been an integral member of the ANNASA Team ensuring that our technological infrastructure is robust, secure, and scalable, enabling us to deliver exceptional service to our clients. He leads our technology team with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and efficiency, driving the development and deployment of cutting-edge solutions. By staying abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies, Tumelo ensures we remain at the forefront of technological advancements, positioning us as leaders in our field. Guiding our technological strategies with expertise and vision.
